Who we are
Henevor (ByBerend), Pachterwaard 39, 6846 ES Arnhem, KvK 62442597, the Netherlands. We are responsible for the details you leave on henevor.com. Questions? Email info@henevor.com.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services from others. We do not follow you across other sites.
We do count visits ourselves, on our own server: which page, which site you came from, whether it is a phone or a computer, and your browser language. Your IP address is not stored. To count a visitor once a day we make a code from your IP address and browser with a key that is replaced and thrown away every day, so we cannot recognise you from one day to the next. These counts are kept for 13 months. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, you are not counted.
If you choose a language or the dark view, your own browser remembers that choice (in local storage). It does not reach us.
Photos of the works load from the image network of Sanity, our content system. Like any web server, Sanity sees your IP address.
When you order
We ask your name, email address and delivery address, and your choices (colours, frame). We need them to make and send your piece and to send you an invoice.
You pay through Mollie (Amsterdam). Your payment details go straight to Mollie; we do not see them.
Your order is stored on our server at TransIP (the Netherlands). The invoice is made in Moneybird (the Netherlands). You get a confirmation by email through Klaviyo.
We keep orders and invoices for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
When you send a request or a message
Through the contact form, a request for an ice cream or lolly, or the commissions page. We receive your name, email address and message, through Formspree. For a request we send you a confirmation through Klaviyo.
We only use this to answer you. We keep it up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to an order.
Newsletter
Only if you sign up yourself. We then send studio news and new works now and then. Unsubscribe at the bottom of every email; your details are then no longer used.
The newsletter is sent through Klaviyo.
Services outside Europe
Formspree and Klaviyo are American companies. They process your details only on our behalf, under the arrangements the European Commission has approved for this (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can always ask which details we hold, have them corrected or deleted (except what the law requires us to keep). Email info@henevor.com; you get an answer within a month.
If you disagree with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
